Thank you for visiting my shop. Claysomnia Handmade offers a wide variety of unique & functional, out-of-the-ordinary tableware, jewelry and home wares that, I hope, will visually and functionally enrich your everyday life.
Everything I make is food safe; I never use lead glazes, and everything can be put in the microwave and dishwasher, although, I do support hand washing, since it is a work of art. Handmade pottery dinnerware should be handled with care as any dramatic change in temperature could cause it to crack. Avoid going straight from the refrigerator to microwave or oven, and vice versa. Although stoneware is oven safe, to prevent thermal shock, do not put pieces into a pre-heated oven but rather place them in a cold oven and allow them to heat gradually. Stoneware should never be heated on the stove top or over an open flame.
Each piece is made one at a time. I hand paint, draw, or carve all my designs freehand. This ensures that you will be getting a truly unique, heirloom quality piece.

***Checks or money orders
~Please make checks or money orders payable to Rachael Macris.
~Items can be held for no more than two weeks, so please mail your payment immediately after placing your order.
~As soon as the payment has been received & has cleared the bank, your order will be shipped.
~Please note that there is a longer processing time for orders paid by check or money order while we wait for your payment to clear.
